At the end of the day there is no magic bullet that is going to sell a million German restaurant hotels products but when you combine a bunch of methods you will reap results from all of them and your overall response will be tremendous.
Outside of Fredericksburg, there’s the Enchanted Rock, which is great for a pleasant hike on a summer’s day. It’s a huge, pink granite dome with a breathtaking view from the top (it’s also a legendary landmark with lots of history that was very important to Native Americans), and a must-visit for anyone who’s active and enjoys the outdoors. Best of all, a visit here is free!
Last, but not least, Gordon Biersch (there’s one on the Embarcadero and many more nationwide) is celebrating Oktoberfest all month long with their seasonal Festbier plus a special menu of Fest food classics. The Festbier is a “rich, moderately hopped, bronze lager.” Drink it alone, or alongside a host of Housemade Pretzels or the Festbier Combo with bratwurst, knackwurst and Hungarian sausages, pretzel sticks and garlic fries.
